  1. We believe that the Holy Bible is God’s infallible, inerrant Word, supernaturally and verbally inspired, through holy men of old. Such that the actual words were God’s words without error or contradiction. We believe that the King James Version is the preserved Word of God. Merryman Family Ministries will use only the King James Bible; no other version will be used in any service or outreach ministry we oversee.
  2. We believe that there is only one living and true God, the Creator, and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth, Holy and worthy of our honor. We believe in the unity of the Godhead, and there are three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the Genesis account of creation, and that is to be accepted literally. Man was created in God’s own image and after His own likeness.
  4. We believe that man was created in innocence under the law of God, but by voluntary transgression fell from his sinless and happy state in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners by nature, and by choice, therefore being under condemnation without defense or excuse.
  5. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of Mary, a virgin. Mary is not an object of worship, but a chosen vessel used by God. Jesus Christ is both the Son of God and God the Son.
  1. We believe that once a person has, by faith, accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour, it is impossible for them to lose their salvation. One saved, always saved.
  2. People are not predestined or ordained to believe, but those who of their own free will, exercise faith in Christ, in God’s foreknowledge, are appointed to heavenly blessings and eternally secure.
  3. We believe in Repentance, repentance is a sincere and thorough changing of the mind and disposition regarding sin, involving a sense of guilt and helplessness of God’s mercy, a strong desire to escape or be saved from sin, and a desire to abandon it. We believe one must repent of his sins, turn to God, confess with his mouth, and ask God to forgive him of his sins.
  4. We believe in Regeneration, Justification, and Sanctification. We believe that when a sinner gets saved, he becomes a new creature. The results of which can be seen in our lives. We believe justification includes the forgiveness of our sins, which brings us peace and favor with God. We have acceptance with God on account of Christ’s righteousness. We believe in sanctification: living a life separated from a sinful world. Sanctification is the way by which we are made to share Gods Holiness. It is a progressive process that begins when a person accepts Christ and continues in the believer’s heart. We believe that when a person is saved, others should see a difference in him. We believe a changed life attracts one to the Saviour.
  5. We believe in Scriptural Baptism, we believe in the immersion of a believer in water, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that when one gets saved, they should be baptized. Baptism does not save a sinner; baptism is a public declaration of a person’s faith in Jesus Christ as their Saviour, symbolizing the believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection as the means of salvation, with its effect in our death to sin, burial of our old man, and resurrection to a new way of life.
  1. Christ arose the third day according to the Scriptures, that He ascended to the right hand of the throne of God, and that He alone is our merciful and faithful priest in things pertaining to God.
  2. We believe in the Scriptures John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and if I go prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” Jesus Christ will return in His glory to the earth, and He will bring His saints with Him.
  3. We believe that no man knows the time of this event, Matthew 24:44. “Therefore, be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” We believe that at this time, there will be great trouble on earth called the Tribulation. This Tribulation will see the death of many on the earth, and only those who have Jesus Christ as Saviour have any hope of being delivered from this great trouble. We believe that Christ will initially come in the air as the Heavenly Bridegroom to receive His Church before the Tribulation, and later come as King of Kings, where He will judge the nations and reign over the earth for 1,000 years.
  4. We believe that there is a basic difference between the righteous and the wicked. Only those who, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour, are justified and are therefore truly righteous in God’s sight. This is because at the first resurrection, believers’ sins have been judged. All others, being unbelievers, are under the wrath of God, and immediately upon death enter the literal fire and torment of hell. They will remain there until the end of the 1,000-year rule of Christ, where they are resurrected bodily to stand before the Great White Throne to be judged according to their works. They will then all be consigned to a literal lake of fire where they will suffer everlasting punishment.

Merryman Family Ministries believes that we are all commanded to give the Gospel to the World. It is our heart’s desire to see as many as possible come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Our Goal at Merryman Family Ministries is to print the Gospel and send it to those in need, free of charge, through the ministry.
